No visit to Victoria is complete without dinner at Pag's. Dinner, as always, was exceptional! Have eaten here many times but now that I don't live here it is a special treat that I must get to on every visit. I thought going on the Tuesday night before Christmas might be a good bet but it was packed as usual. The line went quickly though and it was worth the wait. All of our pastas were absolutely excellent. Tonight we had the Hemingway Short Story, the Ravioli in the Gorgonzola Sauce, the Prawn Broker and the Cabinet of Dr. Cappelleti. Just divine! The house red wine was great and reasonably priced. Our server was sweet and efficient. The atmosphere is as described - funky and eclectic and cramped but that's what makes it. Four piece band was playing tonight AND . . . Howie Siegel was in the house!! What a treat!!
