This is an absolutely top shelf restaurant with wonderful food and excellent prices. We sat out on the terrace on a lovely evening above El Paseo Drive. The setting and ambiance were just perfect! This was matched with excellent and attentive service. And then the food came! We came for appies and wine and it did not disappoint.
They started us with an amazing amuse bouche - a scallop with an excellent sauce atop rice. Delicious! And then I also ordered scallops - these with amaretto, bacon, spinach, shallots and parmesan. Does it get any better than that?? They were absolutely divine! My husband ordered the Bacon Wrapped Dates which were also delicious.
They also offer 1/2 price wine on Tuesdays and they have a really nice selection at very reasonable prices normally so 1/2 off was a steal! Overall, an absolutely excellent evening. And they offer all of their dinner plates in a smaller size which is perfect for us.
